Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring student attendance, ensuring students are engaged and on track in their studies.• Student advocate "Liaison" for grievance and complaints. Be a compassionate advocate for our students, helping resolve any issues they may face.• Assist in achieving retention and re-entry goals, contribute to our mission by helping students stay on their educational path.• Advise students on consecutive absence issues, work closely with students to find satisfactory resolutions.• Provide assistance in various areas, help students access childcare, transportation, financial advisement, protective and legal aid services, and effective study/tutoring services.• Liaise between faculty and students, foster effective communication and advising activities.• Maintain knowledge of school catalog and policies, ensure students are informed and supported.• Develop and oversee campus activities, create a vibrant student community, including orientation facilitation.• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Student Affairs and/or Campus President.
- Bachelor's degree required: Your education background is essential in this role.• Strong oral communication skills: Effective communication is key to student support.• Knowledgeable in human dynamics: Understanding the needs and challenges of our students.• Strong organizational skills: Managing various aspects of student affairs.• Ability to interact effectively: Build relationships with students, faculty, and staff.• Strong telephone communication skills: Connecting with students and addressing their needs.
