Occupational Summary
Part-time positions were established to assist the staff in Undergraduate Admissions or the professional schools in the performance of selected duties during seasons of peak activity. Perform a variety of duties in the recruitment and selection of student applicants for admission.
Work Performed
Read applications for admission; analyze qualifications of prospective students utilizing established University admissions standards; submit evaluations and recommendations to Director of Admissions regarding admissibility of applicants.
Conduct on-campus interviews of prospective students and their parents.
Correspond with prospective students and applicants seeking information on admissions standards, academic and non-academic programs and student activities. Conduct group information sessions as needed.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
