We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Outreach and Admissions Counselor to join our team at Shriver Job Corps. As an Outreach and Admissions Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in changing the lives of young adults by connecting them with valuable education, vocational training, and career development opportunities through the Job Corps program. Responsible for the recruitment and arrival coordination of Job Corps students. Identifies and develops Center- beneficial partnerships that lead to student benefit and success. Determines student qualifications, eligibility and suitability for Job Corps enrollment. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
Associates degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications or closely related field and two years related experience required. Bachelors degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field preferred. Experience may include successful Job Corps enrollment or successful enrollment in other youth development programs. Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurability requirements.
