: Join an already successful admissions team as an Admissions Counselor. Become a key member of the admissions team helping to achieve enrollment goals for Alfred State. You will build and expand upon educational partnerships with students, parents, school counselors, and community organizations. Information concerning all aspects of Alfred State will be shared both on and off campus. Responsibilities include interviewing potential students and personal follow up by assisting the students through the admissions process. This position will also participate in recruitment activities on and off campus, review applications for admission, and be actively involved in on-going admissions programs and projects. Assignments will depend on the needs of the office and the talents of the individual. Extensive recruitment travel in the fall and spring is required. The primary travel territory will be New York City; travel to other areas both in and out of state may also be required.

Preferred education, skills, and abilities:

Master's Degree Proficiency in Spanish and familiarity with the New York City area Familiarity with university-related technology such as Banner and CRM Slate software Knowledge of SUNY and Alfred State
