Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Kennett Campus including supervising all employees; managing budget; tracking and supporting enrollment goals; managing campus communications; overseeing campus technology; managing campus facility; and websites
- Collaborate with Director of Regional Campuses and administrative assistants to manage class offerings, course rotation and delivery of programs at the Kennett Campus
- Plan and execute marketing activities with other campuses and coordinate initiatives with Office of University Marketing and Communications, Admissions, Testing Services and other internal stakeholders
- Provide academic advising for assigned case load of student advisees, support students by teaching them skills to self-navigate to degree completion utilizing campus information, MySEMO, Degree Works, University Bulletin, online and University resources, etc.
- Direct students to appropriate offices including making referrals to Office of Career Services, Student Financial Services, Disability & Accessibility services, etc.
- Maintain extensive records of interactions to help with recruitment and retention
- Develop and maintain relationships with area schools including high schools and transfer institutions; as well, as other local constituents
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, processes, and best practices related to academic advising
- Participate in Professional Advisor Team and Academic Advising Council meetings
- Attend local events and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee inventory at the Kennett Campus including managing the textbook process at Kennett Campus
- Handles confidential and sensitive materials
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Regional Campuses
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus
- Demonstrated experience in academic advising, higher education administration, or similar background
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Demonstrated administrative skills, including excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrated understanding and strong commitment to customer service and team work
- Experience with community outreach and programming
