About the College/Unit/Department
The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine was established in 1946 and has over 525 veterinary students enrolled, with a 150 student class size since the fall of 2021. The veterinary campus is split between the main campus where the first 2 years of the professional curriculum are taught and the Veterinary Education Center at the teaching hospital where third and fourth year students are taught. The two sites each have an Assistant Dean who handles the academic needs of their respective students and who report to the ADASA.
