Job Description
- 5-10 hours per week
- Qualifications: BA/BS degree and an individual who has had experience in MBA/graduate school/university admissions and ideally in diversity recruitment
- Role would be focused on:
- Growing application volume of URM (underrepresented black, Latino, native) applicants building list of leads and nurturing them from the top of the funnel through the application process
- Partner closely with a develop a working relationship with MBA adcomm member dedicated to SOC/URM recruitment
- Develop relationship with other diversity recruitment officers at top universities, MBA programs, and across professional diversity-oriented organizations to partner on joint events and networking opportunities
- Developing relationships with feeder schools including HBCUs as well as organizations across feeder industries (e.g. banking, consulting, NGOs) that have a focus on diverse candidates/representation
- Hosting information sessions (virtual and in-person) targeted to recruitment of undergraduate and professional candidates both for the Advance Access and MBA Lauder applicant pools
- Work one-on-one with candidates help nurture them through the funnel setting individual calls, connecting them with Lauder students, and help prep them for the application process.
- Host in person and virtual coffee chats and one-on-one calls and coaching sessions
- Develop a relationship with diversity organizations like MLT, Forte, Jump Start, and SEO to help grow pool of qualified URM applicants
- Develop network of URM current students and alumni to utilize in recruitment efforts
- Support marketing outreach with email campaigns geared towards diverse candidates, website and social media content, e.g. student and alumni profiles, update diversity page on Lauder website, etc.
- Work with Lauder diversity taskforce and with Lauder students on issues addressing diversity in admissions
