Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Admissions Operations Specialist is part of a team of four that:
- Reviews academic credentials for first year prospective students to determine admissibility
- Communicates admissions policies and procedures to students, families, and high school counselors.
- Responsible for the application process from beginning to end, including reviewing applications for errors, reviewing and waiving application requirements when appropriate, troubleshooting application and technical issues, reviewing and evaluating high school transcripts for minimum course requirements, calculating grade point averages, reviewing narrative submissions and letters of recommendation, and scoring admission essays.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training or work experience in higher education/admissions. (preference given to candidates with prior higher education enrollment management experience).
- Experience in document management or administrative support roles.
- Experience in time management with meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Experience and ability with analyzing, problem solving, interpreting and communicating both verbal and written effectively.
- Experience and strong customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environment.
- Strong attention to details needed.
