Job Description Summary
The Management Department at Bentley University invites applications for a tenure-track position in International Organizational Behavior at the rank of assistant professor, effective Fall 2025. Salary is competitive.

We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, Business Administration or a closely related discipline with a research focus and a teaching interest in International Organizational Behavior. Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research, teaching international/cross-cultural management behavior at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and participating in other academic and professional activities. We are seeking a candidate focused on cross-cultural effectiveness, national culture, and/or international organizational behavior.

Bentley is committed to the teacher-scholar model where teaching, scholarship, service, and community engagement are expected and valued. Reflected in the balance of our teacher-scholar model, the position carries a five-course teaching load per academic year. Class sizes vary but are capped at 36 students. We seek qualified faculty who represent diverse backgrounds, interests and talents and share a commitment to high ethical standards and a willingness to embrace challenge and change. The faculty member hired for this position will be expected to be an enthusiastic participant in the Management Department, Bentley University, and the wider academic community.

Management Department faculty members have a diverse set of research interests and have published in top academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of World Business, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Management Science, and Organization Science.
