Position Summary: The SDI Admissions Manager serves as a department leader and manages the day-to-day Admissions procedures of SDI in order to meet and exceed team goals, and to advance the SDI mission of contributing to student success and satisfaction. A successful Admissions Manager optimizes the daily operations of the Admissions department, ensuring that staffing, training and compliance meet company and regulatory standards. This role assures that the Admissions Representatives are appropriately following the prescribed recruitment methodology to enroll prepared and committed students that persist in school in pursuit of their career choice. Additionally, the Admissions Manager should have a player-coach mentality and will be actively enrolling students to lead by example. Here’s what you’d be doing: Directly observes and coaches the Admissions Representatives to ensure a positive, student-centered experience. Inspires, motivates, and leads the Admissions team to successful outcomes. Hires, trains, and develops staff ensuring appropriate application of the recruitment methodology is followed and utilized. Manages assigned team to established key metrics and accountabilities. Regularly interviews and identifies prospective Admissions Representatives to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained. Ensures company information systems are accurate and updated according to company policies and procedures. Ensures school personnel follow all regulatory and company compliance regulations and takes appropriate action when necessary. Monitors the various platforms used by the Admissions team, including Ring Central, Anthology Student, Live Chat, and others as needed. Re-assigns leads and manages duplicate leads to maintain a clean and organized system of record in alignment with SDI lead policies. Conducts weekly Admissions team meetings, communicating weekly and monthly goals, program updates, compliance issues and other SDI departmental information. Conducts one-on-one meetings with each team member on a regular basis to ensure regulations, standards and processes are being adhered to for overall departmental growth. Works productively with all campus employees and departments to ensure a positive learning environment and student-centered philosophy. Contributes to team enrollment goals by actively enrolling students, working with cancelled enrollments, and helping with re-entry campaigns and student onboarding procedures. Administers phone call observations, identifies and coaches to strengths and weaknesses. Fills in for Director of Admissions as needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Here’s what we’re looking for: Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of five years of experience in admissions/student enrollment within a higher education institution. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience. Management experience of an admission/student enrollment team strongly preferred. Proven strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate persuasively and influence outcomes. Competitive and compassionate. Player-coach mentality. Ability to provide strong leadership, train and develop staff. Basic skills in the use of computerized systems and databases. Excellent people skills and the ability to multitask. Organized, self-starter. Knowledge of and commitment to regulatory and college enrollment policies, standards, and procedures. Ability to influence others. Results-oriented.
