The English as a Second Language Department
(ESL) Department of the College and Career Foundations Division is seeking to hire a skilled professional with a passion for supporting students seeking English language and foundational skills development, and college and GED® preparation. The College and Career Foundations division works closely with departments and divisions across the college to promote access and inclusion that leads to the success for adult learners.
The purpose of this position is to support the resident and international student populations at Lane Community College by developing and managing the processes for enrollment, testing, and student services that promote and enhance recruitment, retention and student success. This position also exists to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the student services office(s) and ensures that staff are appropriately trained and scheduled to meet office needs.

Required Education: Two (2) years of post-secondary education with coursework in accounting, human resources, conflict resolution, communications management principles, record keeping and office procedures.
- Three (3) years of general administrative experience, including extensive public contact.
- At least two (2) years of this experience should be at the level of an Administrative Specialist and include responsibility for accounting, budgets, personnel, purchasing and report writing.
- One (1) year of the total three (3) years of experience must be in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Bilingual proficiency in any of the languages served by the department
