POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Assistant provides administrative support for ISEP's study abroad enrollment process and program implementation to ensure student and member satisfaction. The Program Assistant oversees the timely completion of necessary steps in ISEP processes by monitoring student health insurance enrollment, transcript and visa documentation, and application completeness. The Program Assistant also works with members to comply with ISEP's protocols by returning necessary placement and program documentation.
PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIPS
External: Students at member institutions, Coordinators at member institutions
Internal: Director of Enrollment Management, Student Services Officers, University Relations Managers, Accounting and Student Health Insurance team
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Issuing transcripts for returning ISEP students, including processing and mailing transcripts, corresponding with students and offices on ISEP member campuses, and documenting guidance for interpreting transcripts
- Issuing J-1 visa documentation for students before and during programs, including processing and mailing documents and ensuring student check-ins upon arrival to program
- Assist with providing appropriate documentation and updating SEVIS records for any student wishing to enroll in Academic Training or on-campus student employment in the United States
- Corresponding with students on health insurance enrollment, payments, identification cards, and other related topics
OTHER RECURRING DUTIES
- Assisting with organizational projects and initiatives as needed
- Assisting Student Services Officers in student advising on ISEP enrollment processes as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Study abroad and/or living abroad experience
- Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Strong customer services skills
- Ability to work and think independently as well as part of team
- Extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects with considerable detail
- Strong time management skills
- Initiative and resourcefulness in solving problems
