Our immigration team is seeking a proactive, passionate candidate to serve as an ambassador to our foreign national employees. You must enjoy working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and going the extra mile with a smile. A successful candidate will possess a high attention to detail in order to complete work permission and permanent residency petitions and provide immigration support, advice and information to incoming and current employees. Responsibilities will be performed on a highly engaged team with an accentuation on compliance. Due to federal requirements, the candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Responsibilities Operates under the supervision of the Manager, Immigration Services to provide immigration support, advice and information to all areas of the institution. Provides assistance to customers during and after regular business hours and/or on weekends, as needed. Completes and processes all required immigration forms, work visa applications, and related documents as directed to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations regarding employment and/or training of international workers, students and visitors. Coordinates and assists with the engagement and utilization of external legal counsel for the preparation and execution of work visas, permanent residency applications and other related immigration matters if needed. Ensures the record-keeping, tracking and public access of information is in compliance with federal and institutional requirements.
