This position reports to the Director of International Education and will provide an innovative and collaborative approach to international student recruitment. The successful candidate will work closely with academic areas and the International Education Committee to develop, foster, and maintain strategic partnerships with educational agencies, high schools, collaborative universities, language schools, sponsorship programs, and other feeder programs that drive international student enrollment. The Assistant Director will also represent the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay to prospective students, parents, sponsors, and other key constituents seeking a U.S.-based university degree. This position includes the following responsibilities: - Create, implement, and execute a student recruitment strategy focusing on the development and ongoing relationship management of a network of high schools, language schools, agencies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and other feeder networks.
- Develop comprehensive and targeted training programs for key partners.
- Identify opportunities and successfully partner with critical University personnel, including the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, Director of Graduate Studies, College Deans, Director of International Education, and select faculty and staff to implement programs which support increased international student enrollment.
- Travel to attend recruitment and outreach activities, conferences, fairs, meetings, and training events.
- Represent the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay to prospective students, parents, sponsors, and other key constituents.
- Devise and implement regular communication plans to build strong relationships and keep UW-Green Bay top of mind with prospective students, families, agencies, partners, faculty, staff, and other organizations.
- Provide extensive follow-up with prospective international students to encourage complete application.
- Increase awareness of UW-Green Bay via the design and distribution of promotional materials, including print, online, and broadcast media.
- Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment, monitor enrollment trends, and report on all phases of the recruitment process.
- Maintain maximum levels of market intelligence in areas of investment and emerging potential.
- Maintain involvement in relevant professional associations (e.g. NAFSA, NACAC, AIEA, AIRC, AACRAO, etc.).
