The Assistant Provost for Global Education and Engagement will have a major responsibility in providing overall strategic, operational and fiscal management of the Center for Global Education and Engagement to ensure high quality international activities and programs. The APGEE will also be responsible for developing and overseeing a variety of campus-wide initiatives related to international programs and services, research, education, and collaborations at Radford University. The next Assistant Provost for Global Education and Engagement will develop international programming and improve campus support for international students, as well as define and implement strategies for attracting and engaging international students.
The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree from an accredited institution and have significant experience in international programs and student services, including niche markets; considerable experience living, working, or studying abroad; knowledge of policies and regulations related to international programs and services; experience designing, leading, and/or assessing international education experiences; a strong track record for building partnerships that foster an appreciation for international students, programs, and services; excellent management skills including stewardship of fiscal and human resources; and excellent communication and organizational skills.
