Binghamton University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Director for Dual-Diploma Programs and Collaborative Degrees in the Dual-Diploma Programs Office. The Diploma Programs Office administers joint degree programs, which undergraduate students from international partner universities spend their sophomore and senior years at Binghamton. Under the supervision of the Senior Director for Global Partnerships, the position administers and coordinates activities for the Dual-Diploma Programs (DDP) Office and provides advising to Dual-Diploma and other collaborative degree students from multiple international partners and serves as a back up to the SOM Advising Offices when additional support is needed.
Major job responsibilities:
Oversee the management of the enrollment, admission, transcript process of DDP and other collaborative degree students;
Provide academic advising to a cohort of sophomore and senior students, explain the curriculum and assist with the actual course registration;
Develop and implement orientation programs in fall and spring;
Assist the Senior Director in the management of the web page, develop and update publicity materials for Binghamton’s projects with Turkey and other countries as assigned;
Supervision of DDP interns and Orientation Assistants;
Coordinate technology involving enrollment management, web pages, and social media;
Assist the Senior Director alumni engagement activities and organize events for DDP alumni;
Manage the DDP Scholarship Program.

One to three years of administrative work experience
Ability to work with a variety of packaged software applications as well as relational databases with complete accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication are necessary
