CREDENTIAL EVALUATION COORDINATOR, Admissions and Transfer Credit - Competition Number 19-153R
Kwantlen Polytechnic University is currently seeking a Credential Evaluation Coordinator for our Surrey campus. The Credential Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and evaluating admission and transfer credit procedures, for both foreign and domestic applicants in accordance with established policy and articulation agreements. This position provides leadership and supervision, including recruiting, training, scheduling work, assigning work and resolving performance issues. This position is also responsible for the maintenance of the Transfer Articulation Module in Banner Student and KPU’s Institutional Transfer Credit contact with BC Council on Admissions & Transfer (BCCAT).
Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel and Access. Proficient with a student records-based system such as BANNER Student at an intermediate/advanced level, or a similar system at a post-secondary institution. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and needs analysis skills are essential as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to provide effective training to others.

Minimum qualifications include:
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in progressively responsible positions related to admissions and transfer credit in an Office of the Registrar at a post-secondary institution.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory position with experience in developing and administering performance standards.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in authenticating and assessing domestic and foreign secondary and post-secondary transcripts for admission and transfer credit.
An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
