Manager of Study Tours and Summer Programs
The Manager of Study Tours and Summer Programs is responsible for the organization, management, planning, marketing and implementation of Saint Joseph University’s study tours and summer programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In conjunction with department chairs and faculty, designs/develops faculty led study tours and SJU summer programs to serve the global needs of SJU community.
Works with SJU faculty who are planning faculty led study tours or will be teaching a summer program course abroad to implement the travel component of the course.
Assists with the development, review and management of policies and best practices associated with the health, safety and security of Saint Joseph’s students, faculty and staff traveling abroad.
Organizes informational and pre-departure meetings.
Manages the promotion of study tour/summer program opportunities for Saint Joseph’s University students and faculty and designs appropriate marketing materials to promote programs offered by the Center for International Programs (CIP).
Works closely with SJU faculty and staff to ensure that all program logistics are coordinated effectively and efficiently.
Provides continuing support for both students and faculty during travel.
