Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions
The Heller School offers six graduate programs in domestic and international policy with a common focus on advancing careers committed to social change. The 2020 U.S. News & World Report rankings for graduate schools of public affairs lists the Heller School #7 in social policy.
The Assistant Director manages the admissions and yield process for the Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence, including planning and presenting at on-campus and virtual events.
The Assistant Director also serves as a member of the office's operations team including assisting with the management of the Slate CRM and processing of applications, managing the processing of international student visa requests for incoming students, and supervising student staff.
The Assistant Director represents the Heller School at recruiting events locally and across the U.S., including those focused on recruiting underrepresented students.
Relevant experience in admissions or student services, excellent project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work in a busy office are required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to work well with faculty and staff, and a strong customer service orientation are required. Must be able to travel for up to three days at a time across the U.S. A bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience are required.
