Coordinates, promotes, and facilitates international student recruitment initiatives and programs. 1. Recruits undergraduate and graduate international students to the university through local, national, and international recruitment efforts; arm chair recruitment; and virtual presentations. 2. Creates a presence and promotes the university’s international admissions through online platforms, social media, and the university’s website. 3. Coordinates with Marketing and Communications to create marketing materials to promote the university and International Programs materials for events and international organizations for international student recruitment. 4. Assists with exchange programs, international student orientation, cultural events, Friendship Family Program, and other events sponsored and hosted by International Programs. 5. Serves as International Programs liaison to the International Student Organization. 6. Coordinates on-campus visits for international students; assists new and prospective international students with acclimating to the university and to the U.S. 7.Assists the director with email communications to international counselors and mailings to schools and EducationUSA officers. 8. Manages international admissions email account, and creates response catalogs for frequently asked questions. 9. Administers the English Proficiency Waiver Requirement. 10. Assists with the ESL program and services. 11. Assists with study abroad programs, which includes recruitment, application and services. 12. Maintains international student recruitment database with appropriate CRM software. 13. Coordinates updates to International Programs website and student recruitment website. 14. Assists with identifying opportunities to increase the university’s international student presence through international recruitment and support organizations. 15. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree in student counseling, business administration, education or related field
Minimum Experience:(2) years related experience; TESL or TESOL certification preferred
