Under the direction of the Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Manager of International Admissions (Managing Assistant Director III) manages international recruitment, planning and strategic communications with prospective students, families and educational organizations and is responsible for supervising work operations and personnel in the administration of recruitment and marketing outreach for international admissions at Kean University. The Manager participates in the development and implementation of unit and office goals, policies and procedures which affect admissions operations at the University; and does related work as required.
The Manager of International Admissions is a key member of the enrollment management team who works in collaboration with other managers within the division and the Center for International Studies to successfully facilitate marketing outreach and achieve individual enrollment goals. This position requires frequent domestic and international travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours for recruitment activities and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; two years of professional experience in admissions in higher education or a related field; a driver’s license valid in NJ; and a valid U.S. passport for international travel is required. Master’s degree; international admissions experience; fluency in a second language; and knowledge of an enrollment CRM, such as Recruiter and/or Datatel is preferred. Candidate must be able to lift, handle and transport recruitment materials and equipment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
