Director, Access Programs Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Associate Dean of International and Access Programs, the Director of Access Programs is responsible for the development of new access, academic, and continuing education programs for international audiences. The Director develops and overseas new international initiatives and programming involving research, academic, and access programs by developing international and campus partnerships. The Director provides academic and budgetary oversight, supervising employees, and is responsible for new business development within the Access Programs Unit. The Director administers Open Campus Program for domestic and international audiences, develops custom professional development programs for international life-long learners as determined by market need, and leads development of new programming for international university partners. This position will provide oversight of many inbound research programs and serves as the Director of the Global Study Program that host over 150 undergraduate students from leading universities across the world. The position is responsible for program growth and geographical diversification, academic oversight, and supervision of program staff. The Director works closely with CPE portfolio leaders and supports the office of the associate dean in new business and program development. Appointment/Compensation: This is a full-time academic term appointment with an initial 1-year appointment, eligible for continued reappointment. Salary commensurate with experience. UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education is unable to sponsor a work visa (H-1B) to fill this position. Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they are legally authorized to work in the United States.
