iTEP is looking to hire a Director of Business Development primarily responsible for the USA/Canada market. This position is responsible for promoting and marketing iTEP exams to intensive English language programs, private middle/high schools, colleges/universities and companies. The Business Development Director will organize and conduct outreach efforts by phone, email campaigns, conference attendance, campus visits, advertising, newsletters, social media and other platforms.
Follow up on and provide detailed reporting on leads generated through conference attendance, social and professional networking, Internet research, and website inquiries.
Provide excellent support to existing iTEP customers through timely follow up on orders and inquiries, alerts to new iTEP offerings, and proactively soliciting clients’ needs.
Support a network of local iTEP representatives in terms of promotional materials, conference attendance, site visits, and pilot testing follow-up.
Market iTEP International products and services within the academic marketplace, recommending new testing products designed for the specific needs of the academic market.
Manage recruitment efforts to increase the number of secondary schools and colleges that become iTEP Admissions partner schools.
Develop and implement direct mail and phone campaigns for all customer segments (college partner program, hospitality, intensive English programs, pathway programs, private high schools and international businesses.
Coordinate logistics of conferences that iTEP participates in.
Attend professional conferences and plan and implement the exhibition of iTEP products at various conferences and events.
Reviewing and reporting on weekly sales to U.S./Canadian customers.
Maintain contact information on the iTEP CRM.
General support of the other areas of iTEP International – Academics, Technology, Operations.
Other duties as assigned.

One to three years’ experience in educational sales.
Some domestic travel is required.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Background in English language testing.
Experience working on a university campus in admissions or international education.
