The International Student Services Assistant Director works independently under the general supervision of the Director and is a student success-focused professional directly responsible for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating a full range of services and programs which meet the international objectives of the university and the special needs of prospective, current and former non-immigrant international students.
The Assistant Director serves as the manager of the Office of International Student Services, is the office Primary Designated School Official for immigration and regulatory compliance, and overseas international student programs.
Master’s degree or equivalent.
Five years’ experience working in higher education
Three years’ experience with international student advising
Experience with student success program development and management
Three or more years working with international student visas and SEVIS immigration related matters as a Designated School Official (DSO)
Additional Salary Information: Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $6,670 per month
