The International Admissions Office is looking for a Program Coordinator. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all other activities.
Description: The Program Coordinator will join a UC International Admissions team of ten full-time professionals dedicated to recruiting international students to attend the University of Cincinnati. UC International is the university-wide unit, within the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost, for serving international students and scholars, education abroad students, as well as the development of the university's international strategic planning. The position will report directly to the Assistant Director of International Outreach to provide comprehensive support of the university’s international staff and agent recruitment network, provide ongoing training, marketing, and administration support, track and evaluate performance, and identify new agent partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing training, administrative support, and timely feedback to the international agent network regarding university admissions policies, procedures, and deadlines.
Develop and coordinate marketing initiatives in support of the international agent network and global offices, including monthly newsletters, print and digital publications, and website updates.
Participate in webinars, virtual fairs, and admissions events hosted by the international agent network and global offices throughout the year. May be assigned additional territory management responsibilities based on departmental needs.
Serve as the main point of contact for international graduate admission inquiries from the agent network and global offices. Participate in graduate admissions events to promote the growth and diversification of international graduate student enrollment.
Collaborate with on-campus partners on enrollment activities, providing support for online activities and development and dissemination of promotional materials
Track and evaluate international agent performance and productivity. Compile mid-year and annual reports.
Receive and process application documentation and follow-up with partners on incomplete applications.
Develop positive working relationships with existing agent network. Identify and initiate new agent partnerships.
Maintain and stay abreast of trends and best practices in international student recruitment and international agent management.
Travel internationally on a limited basis in support of admissions initiatives.
Perform related duties based on departmental needs.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related area with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate’s degree with three (3) years of experience; -OR- five (5) years of experience. Experience must be in university admissions and/or international education. Preferred Qualifications:
Fluency in a language other than English.
Previous experience working with international recruitment agencies.
