Job Description Interim Program Assistant
In a fast-paced office working with more than 2,000 students, faculty, and staff each year, the Interim Program Assistant serves as a front-line advisor for education abroad programming, providing preliminary advice to students regarding overseas programs, finance, travel, and insurance. Additionally, the Program Assistant provides support for outreach and events, including the Study Abroad Fair, Study Abroad 101 meetings, pre-departure, and information sessions.
He/she supervises the front desk, which includes overseeing student workers and providing back up as needed.
Additionally the Interim Program Assistant provides assistance with operational and administrative functions as assigned, including support for student visas, credit transfer from abroad and course approvals, and study abroad applications.
