Lawrence University of Wisconsin, a selective undergraduate liberal arts college and conservatory of music located in Appleton, WI, invites applications for the position of Director of Off-Campus Programs, to begin January 1, 2020 (though an earlier start date is possible).
Reporting to the Provost and Dean of the Faculty, Director of Off-Campus Programs serves as the primary resource on the academic, cultural, and logistical aspects of Lawrence University’s portfolio of sponsored and affiliated short- and long-term off-campus programs. These include the University’s own London Centre, which is about to celebrate its 50th anniversary; a biannual program in Senegal; and several short-term faculty-led programs to locations such as Sierra Leone, Jamaica, and Nepal. The University also partners with a host of third-party providers to offer students a rich range of off-campus study opportunities.
The successful candidate will have four years’ administrative experience in the field and experience living overseas; the preferred candidate will hold a master’s degree and have foreign language proficiency.
