Job Description Summary: The primary responsibility of the coordinator will be to work with international applications and coordinate international student recruitment and admission for undergraduate and graduate programs for Webster's USA Campuses. The work focuses on conversion of leads to enrollment by actively engaging with prospective students. The role of the coordinator will also be to perform various admissions processing, compliance, and other related activities that can support Webster University's USA and international campuses.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor Degree Skill in operating a computer and supporting software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications A working knowledge of higher education within the United States. Strong intercultural communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form. Ability to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and diplomacy. Strong interest in student recruitment and a passion for sales. Skill in reviewing/evaluating foreign transcripts. (preferred) Ability to learn and apply applicable federal regulations. Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Prior experience with Social Media Communications, Webinars, Virtual Fairs will be of advantage
Essential Duties Respond to all inquiries concerning admission requirements for international students which includes general University requirements as well as special requirements within individual academic units. Maintain a systematic follow-up of all stages of led acquisition to enrollment for international students 30%
Support the department with reviews and make admission decisions for applicants applying to our international campuses. Particularly during peak season of recruitment. 25%
Develop and implement prospective student engagement plans in the form of email, social media, phone calls, webinars, etc. with the aim of recruiting international students to the USA campuses of Webster. 20%
Evaluate the application file of an international student, which includes student transcripts and determines eligibility for admission. 10%
Occasionally support international student recruitment events by attending fairs, visiting schools either virtually or in person. 10%
Support the department with visa and compliance tasks and communication as necessary.5%
