Knox seeks an outgoing, results-oriented individual to lead our international recruitment program. You’ll work to achieve a high level of visibility for the College; identify and recruit well-matched candidates for admission; build relationships with high school counselors, educational consultants, and alumni; and assist students and their parents in applying for admission. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position.
Develop and oversee the implementation of our international recruitment plan.
Engage with prospective students and their parents via phone, text, email, video, and in-person to achieve a high level of interaction and build sustained relationships through the college search.
Assist students in assessing match/fit and how Knox could help to achieve their educational goals.
Work with families to understand American higher education, college costs, and student visa process.
Build relationships with high school counselors and educational consultants
Make in-person and virtual presentations about Knox, conduct interviews, represent Knox at college fairs, high school information sessions, and other events.
Review applications for admission; serve as a Designated School Official.
Recruitment travel up to 10-12 weeks per year; work evenings and weekends as needed for events and to engage with students and parents.
Previous experience in international admission or college advising
Experience living, studying, or working internationally
Experience with and passion for creating virtual engagement, social media, video, digital communications, and online events
Valid driver’s license and passport
Ability to travel internationally
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and public speaking abilities; and talent for developing relationships with a variety of constituencies
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
