Data Services Coordinator
This position serves as a Designated School Official for the F-1 student program and Alternate Responsible Officer for the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program, the Data Systems Coordinator manages daily review of data to be sent to the Department of Homeland Security’s Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) via batch file processes while providing administrative management and support to the unit in the form of triage, record management and other duties. This position performs vital compliance functions related to government reporting via SEVIS including sending daily electronic updates, managing alerts of changes in PeopleSoft that must be reported to SEVIS.
